10:30 a.m.
28 degrees
4.3 miles
Not sure about pace - took me about 40 minutes, so less than 10 min./mi.
This run went really well. I wanted to let my breakfast digest, and I wanted it to get to as close as 30 degrees as possible. I had two routes in mind. One was 6 miles, and one was just over 4. I changed my mind at the last minute and ended up just shy of 4.5 miles. I am really happy with that, because I wanted to get home to my babies! According to the Hal Higdon 10k plan I am
I wore:
Old Navy running tights
Nike compression socks
Nike black dri-fit tank
Long-sleeve cotton t-shirt
Old Navy fleece
Stocking cap
Two pairs of gloves
My old white Asics- not sure what model
| Looking a little bulky with all my layers! :-) |
My core and hands were really warm, but my butt and face were cold. Brr! The tank/t-shirt combo was a little bulkier than I wanted, but it got the job done.
Happy Sunday!
